Ruilong Waterfall is known as the most beautiful waterfall in Zhushan. Formerly called "Shikan Lake Waterfall," it is also referred to as "Shanpingding Waterfall" due to its location in the Shanpingding settlement. In 1981, the late President Chiang Ching‑kuo visited and witnessed the magnificent sight of the waterfall, where the surging torrents cascaded down like a soaring dragon leaping into the sky, and thus named it "Ruilong Waterfall."
The waterfall is about 30 metres in height, resembling a white silk curtain descending in three tiers, each layer rippling dynamically. During periods of ample water flow, it appears like a flying dragon roaming freely. The abundant rush of water stirs up countless droplets, shrouding the surroundings in layers of fine mist. The 50‑metre‑long Ruilong Waterfall Viewing Platform lies across it, with massive boulders scattered in the stream, forming a spectacular scene.

A 5‑metre‑long river‑crossing viewing platform allows visitors to enjoy a broader view of the waterfall, inhale negative ions, and wander leisurely amidst the forest, adding a touch of tranquil Zen.

The newly renovated Ruilong Waterfall Park features flat forest paths that are easy for both adults and children to navigate. Besides enjoying the diverse ecological scenery, visitors can also relax and breathe in the phytoncides of the forest!

The "Ruilong Suspension Bridge" is the only path to the waterfall. The bridge spans 215 metres in length and 1.35 metres in width, remaining stable even when two people walk together. Looking down from the bridge at the gurgling stream, set against the blue sky and green shade, it is a sight that makes one reluctant to blink!
