This is also Japan's premier matcha destination, with century‑old tea houses lining the streets and the aroma of roasted tea filling the air. Enjoy classic matcha parfaits at Itō Kyūemon, matcha pudding, strawberry matcha desserts and traditional wagashi, or choose from the various restaurants along Uji Bridge Shopping Street for a relaxing, healing tea‑infused lunch🍵.

Next, arrive at Kyoto's super popular check‑in spot, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. As the top energy spot in Kansai and the head shrine for business fortune and blessings, its thousands of vermilion torii gates form a dreamy and mysterious tunnel landscape, layered and truly spectacular. Along the way, you'll see sacred fox statues symbolising abundant good fortune.
