Accommodation on Nan'ao Island is mainly concentrated in the Xiawei Bay and Qing'ao Bay areas. Overall, the facilities are average. Xiawei Bay is located in the southeastern part of the island, close to the bus terminal and Song Well, with accommodation mostly consisting of guesthouses — it's a better choice if you want to eat seafood. Qing'ao Bay is on the southwestern side of Nan'ao Island, with Changshanwei Pier nearby. This means that if you arrive by ferry, you'll essentially be near Qing'ao Bay. It's a better option for sea views, and in the evening you can catch a beautiful island sunset.

Most of the restaurants on the island are seafood dai pai dong (open‑air food stalls). The seafood is abundant, fresh, and delicious — well worth trying.
