Tour Highlights
Lake Shikotsu / Lake Toya Fireworks Festival / Lake Toya Observatory
Pure leisure travel with no shopping stops, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing holiday to the fullest
On summer weekend evenings, the Lake Toya Fireworks Festival lights up the sky, with the reflections of the fireworks visible on the lake surface. The Lake Toya Fireworks Festival runs from late April through October

The charm of Lake Shikotsu lies in its "Shikotsu Blue" waters. The shimmering blue lake surface attracts countless visitors — this blue hue is created by the clear water reflecting sunlight, and the water quality here is among the most renowned in Japan

The best spot for panoramic views of Lake Toya, offering a full view of the island in the middle of the lake, Mount Yotei, and Mount Showa Shinzan! Famous worldwide for its unique caldera lake, Lake Toya is celebrated for its volcanic landscape, with the shimmering lake surface looking especially enchanting against the snow‑capped mountain scenery

Lake Toya measures approximately 11 km at its longest (east‑west) and 9 km at its widest (north‑south), with a circumference of 50 km. The lake surface sits at 84 metres above sea level, with an average depth of 117 metres and crystal‑clear waters. The lake never freezes over even in winter, making it Japan's northernmost unfrozen lake, its beautiful waters shimmering all year round
