Sagrada Familia Holds Memorial Mass for Late Reverend Lluís Bonet

SaveThe Sagrada Família in Barcelona held a memorial mass on Thursday, 17 September, for Reverend Lluís Bonet i Armengol, who served as rector of the Basilica parish for 25 years.
Held in the crypt, the ceremony honoured his pastoral service and ties to the Temple. Cardinal Joan Josep Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona and ex officio President of the Board of Trustees of the Sagrada Família Expiatory Temple Foundation, presided over the service. Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona Msgr David Abadías concelebrated the mass.
Attendees included Esteve Camps, Executive President of the Board of Trustees, board members, parishioners, friends, and family members. Reverend Bonet i Armengol was the son of architect Lluís Bonet i Garí and brother of architect Jordi Bonet, and was known for his long career in the priesthood focused on community service.
