Visitors in Paris can view the exhibition 'Simone Veil: My Sisters and Me' at the Mémorial de la Shoah until October 15th. The display features photographs, documents, and interview transcripts detailing Simone Veil's experience as a Holocaust survivor, covering her childhood in Nice, the persecution under Marshall Pétain's regime following France's defeat in 1940, and her subsequent deportation.
August 25th marks the 82nd anniversary of the liberation of Paris. Ceremonies will take place across the city, alongside an outdoor screening of the 2014 film 'Diplomacy' at the Hôtel de Ville.
