Activity Overview
The Louvre Museum is a must‑visit attraction in Paris and one of the world's top three museums. Its collection ranges from ancient artifacts of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greece to masterpieces by artistic masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt, with a staggering 35,000 works of art to behold. Here are housed the world's three most famous faces — Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa", the "Venus de Milo", and the "Winged Victory of Samothrace". A trip to the Louvre is a condensed history of art.
Originally a palace for French kings that housed the royal private art collection, the museum opened to the public as a public art gallery during the French Revolution in 1793, and its collection was further enriched by Napoleon's spoils of war across Europe. With fast‑track electronic tickets, you can book and issue instantly, enter easily through the designated entrance, save precious time spent waiting in queues, and reserve your energy for the art itself.
