Exhibition Highlights and Rare Displays
Positioned at the heart of the foyer spaces on Level G, the display presents an evolving selection of original objects and historical stories from the Barbican Archive. A key highlight of the exhibition is a rarely displayed 1:22-scale architectural model of the Barbican Centre and Estate, allowing guests to visualize the layout and design of the landmark complex in detail.

Digital Collections and Interactive Touchscreens
In addition to physical items, thousands of historical architectural plans, drawings, photographs, leaflets, and objects have been catalogued and digitized in partnership with Google Arts and Culture. Visitors can engage with these archives on site using interactive touchscreens installed within the exhibition space, or access the collections online via the Google Arts and Culture platform.

Visiting Details
The display runs until 1 January 2027 at the Barbican Centre, located on Silk Street in London. Admission is free, making it an accessible addition to any London travel itinerary. The venue is easily reached via public transport, including tube, bus, train, or on foot.
