Autumn Harvest Food Scene
Fall marks the arrival of the harvest season across France, making it one of the most rewarding times to explore Paris’s culinary offerings. Diners heading to the capital can sample fresh autumn ingredients, seasonal seafood, and newly updated menus across classic bistros, floating venues, and historic nightlife spots.

Classic Bistros and River Dining
For authentic bistro atmosphere, Astier in the 11th arrondissement serves traditional French fare with red check tablecloths. Popular items include marinated harengs, frog’s legs, roasted turbot with white butter sauce, beef filet, and classic rum baba, complemented by a wine list focusing on Burgundy, Rhône, and Loire Valley vintages. Lunch menus are available from Monday to Saturday at €25 for two courses or €29 for three courses.

Visitors seeking a scenic meal along the Seine can board Ducasse-sur-Seine, an all-electric boat offering quiet, vibration-free cruises past iconic sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, and Pont Neuf. Meals are prepared fresh on board by chef Jean-Philippe Berens, with prices ranging from €115 to €530 plus wine.
Concept Venues and Cabaret Reopenings

Along the historic quayside, Mégie operates as a plant-forward, seasonal lunch spot between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, transitioning into a coffee shop and late-afternoon wine and cheese bar until 6:00 PM. Evening slots are dedicated to private events and floral art workshops.
In Saint-Germain, historic venue L'Alcazar reopens with Art Deco glamour, red velvet décor, and live cabaret performances including singers, dancers, acrobats, and drag artists. The menu features dishes such as tarragon sea-bass mousseline, beef chuck in Saint-Émilion wine sauce, and signature desserts like vanilla mille-feuille and raspberry-liquorice vacherin. Menu options include lunch from €43, dinner from €44, and Sunday brunch from €32.
Meanwhile, seafood restaurant Quelque Part…Les Abysses offers an ocean-inspired dining environment, featuring an anniversary four-course tasting menu titled 'The Moment' with dishes such as scallop amuse-bouches and octopus confit.
