Dalí and Fashion at Palazzo Reale

Running from 24 September 2026 to 31 January 2027, Palazzo Reale presents Dalí and Fashion, exploring how the surrealist master turned clothing into artistic expression. The exhibition covers his decades-long relationship with the fashion world, starting with Coco Chanel in the 1920s and expanding through his iconic 1937 collaborations with Elsa Schiaparelli, which produced the famous lobster dress, shoe-shaped hat, and phone-bag. Visitors can also view his 1940s–1950s jewelry designs, a dress created with Christian Dior, and surrealist swimsuits shown in Paris in 1965.
