Colonel Saab Brings a Month-Long Kebab Festival to Trafalgar Square

Forget the midnight post-pub kebab — one of London's swankiest Indian restaurants is giving this humble classic a high-end makeover. Colonel Saab, the acclaimed Trafalgar Square eatery, is hosting an entire 'Kebab Festival' from 20 August to 19 September 2026, with a special month-long menu celebrating the history of the kebab and its deep roots in Indian cooking.

12 Kebabs, Lunchtime Only

Served Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 3pm, the festival menu showcases twelve distinct kebabs. Highlights include a South Indian-inspired Pepper Fry beef kebab, Shikandari Raan made with tender goat, and the show-stopping Galouti kebab — a slow-cooked lamb creation so impossibly soft it was originally invented in the 18th century for a toothless nawab. Dessert options include almond rice pudding or classic bread and butter pudding for a sweet finish.

Award-Winning Credentials

Colonel Saab's High Holborn location was named among London's best curry spots by the Asian Catering Federation this year, and ranked in the global top 100. This Trafalgar Square festival is set to further cement its reputation as one of the capital's finest Indian dining destinations.
