Hotel Tentrem Jakarta Turns Two: A Celebration of Indonesian Heritage and Heart
Marking its second anniversary with a cultural showcase and a charity initiative supporting autism education.
Milestones mean more when they're shared. Celebrating its second anniversary, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta proudly presents Dwi Warsa Tentrem: Savour the Taste, Witness the Heritage. Since opening its doors on 14 July 2024, the hotel has spent two remarkable years delivering heartfelt Indonesian hospitality, forging genuine connections, and championing the richness of the nation's cultural heritage.
Rooted in Culture
More than a milestone, the hotel's anniversary evening on Saturday, 18 July 2026 was an invitation to witness, to taste, and to give back — a journey through Indonesia's artistic traditions. Held in partnership with the YCHI Autism Center, the charity gala unfolded across the hotel's grand Ballroom.
The night began with the elegant Serimpi court dance, followed by a traditional wayang kulit shadow puppet performance. Harpist Nia Aladdin added a contemporary touch before guests were drawn into the Sinden & Gamelan Corner, where Javanese vocal artistry met the hypnotic rhythms of the gamelan orchestra. The experience culminated at the dinner table with a five-course, Indonesian-inspired tasting menu — each dish a reflection of the country's culinary heritage.
Giving Back: The Dwi Warsa Tentrem Charity Initiative
A standout moment was the SUKMA Gallery showcase — Hotel Tentrem Jakarta's signature cultural collection celebrating Indonesian craftsmanship. A fashion parade featuring Tentrem's Batik collection alongside Batik Nyonya Indo and Rosethree Batik brought the hotel's belief to life: that meaningful celebrations can create meaningful impact.
'Two years have taught us that true hospitality goes beyond service — it's about heritage and heart,' said Andi Bagistav Oddek, General Manager. 'Through Dwiwarsa Tentrem, we celebrate Indonesian craftsmanship while giving back to a community that deserves greater support.'
