CIFTIS - China International Fair for Trade in Services

[Exhibition Overview]

    In 2012, with the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the predecessor of this exhibition was jointly founded by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, initially named the China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS). In 2019, the exhibition was officially renamed the China International Fair for Trade in Services, and in 2020, its abbreviation was formally adjusted from "CIFTIS" to "CIFTIS" (serving as the official shorthand), with the English acronym remaining CIFTIS.

    As a national and international comprehensive exhibition, CIFTIS follows global trends in services trade, with a core focus on leading open innovation and promoting mutual benefit and sharing, aiming to establish itself as the world's most influential first-class international services trade fair. Today, CIFTIS, together with the Canton Fair and the China International Import Expo (CIIE), constitutes the three major core exhibition platforms for China's opening-up.
