    Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is a world-renowned top-tier gaming event. Since its inception in 1996, it has accompanied the gaming industry through nearly three decades of development and is widely recognised by the industry as the barometer of Asia's gaming sector, serving as a core strategic gateway for global gaming companies to expand into the Japanese and Asia-Pacific markets.

    Organised by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA), the show is held annually every autumn at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. It is not only a key showcase platform for the world's leading console manufacturers, but also holds unique industry influence in the fields of anime culture and mobile gaming. It has now evolved into a one-stop business and trading exchange platform covering the entire gaming industry chain.


【2025 Key Show Information】

    The 2025 Tokyo Game Show set multiple new historical records, attracting a total of 1,136 exhibitors from 47 countries and regions worldwide, with the total number of booths reaching 4,157. For the first time, the number of overseas exhibitors surpassed that of domestic Japanese exhibitors, marking an unprecedented level of internationalisation for the show.

    The show received over 260,000 visits from professional visitors and gaming enthusiasts in total, with professional visitors on the first business day alone reaching 52,352. The organisers implemented strict crowd management measures, ensuring both a quality visiting experience for general attendees and productive business discussions for professional visitors.

    Chinese participation at this year's show was unprecedented in scale, with over 170 Chinese companies exhibiting, including nearly 110 companies from Mainland China. Leading manufacturers such as Tencent and NetEase unveiled multiple major new titles, with queue times for playable demos at some popular booths reaching 2-3 hours, making them the centre of attention at the event.

    The exhibits at this year's show covered game-related content across all categories, including:

    - Original game titles across console games, PC games, mobile games and more

    - VR/AR devices, cloud gaming technology, esports hardware, gaming merchandise and other related products

    - A dedicated family and children's zone was established for the first time, further broadening the show's audience coverage
