Introduction to the Scenic Areas of Zhongshan Film and Television City
★ China Scenic Area
The China Scenic Area is built to condense the memorial sites where Dr. Sun Yat‑sen carried out revolutionary activities in China. The scenic area is divided into two major parts: the Exhibition Hall Area and the Visiting Attractions Area, featuring more than 20 attractions, including the Exhibition Hall of Historical Pictures of the 1911 Revolution, the Exhibition Hall of the History of the Zhongshan Warship, the Exhibition Hall of Stills from the TV Drama "Sun Yat‑sen", the Zhongshan Modern Notable Figures Hall, as well as the Nanjing Sun Yat‑sen Mausoleum, the Whampoa Military Academy, the Office of the Nanjing Presidential Palace, the Shanghai Residence of Sun Yat‑sen, the Guangzhou Residence of Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning, and the Guangzhou Uprising Command Headquarters. These attractions cleverly connect the main locations and scenes of Dr. Sun Yat‑sen's revolutionary activities across China. Visitors here can not only trace the revolutionary footsteps of the great man Dr. Sun Yat‑sen, but also learn about the history and culture of notable figures from Zhongshan City, enjoy the wonderful stills from the TV drama "Sun Yat‑sen", and experience the rich film and television culture. The scenic area also features a Lingnan‑style street lined with arcade‑style shops, as well as the elegant Yanbo Waterside Pavilion and Guanpu Pavilion, where visitors can take a rest and enjoy a leisurely and carefree life.

★ Japan Scenic Area
The Japan Scenic Area, located at the northeastern end of the Zhongshan Film and Television City, is constructed with a Japanese main street of over 200 metres, Japanese alleys, and a shrine hall, among other buildings. The main Japanese street in the scenic area is designed and built in the architectural style of the Meiji Restoration period in Japan. The street stretches over 80 metres and exudes a strong oriental style, with shops, inns and other street‑front buildings arranged rationally to create a street scene rich in Japanese ambience. More than 10 attractions in the scenic area, including the Japan Residence of Sun Yat‑sen, the Headquarters of the Chinese Revolutionary Party in Japan, the Japan Residence of Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning, the Japanese Shrine Hall, and the Residence of Umeya Shokichi, centrally reflect Dr. Sun Yat‑sen's difficult and tortuous revolutionary career in Japan. Visitors here will feel as if they are in Japan itself and can personally experience the environment in which Dr. Sun Yat‑sen carried out his revolution in Japan. The scenic area also features extensive cherry blossom groves. During the blooming season, the view is filled with blossoms and the air is permeated with fragrance everywhere.

★ Britain Scenic Area
The Britain Scenic Area, located at the westernmost end of the Zhongshan Film and Television City, is composed of British‑style building complexes, stone‑paved streets, and European‑style gardens. In addition to reflecting the antique and elegant architectural style of Britain, the scenic area also condenses Dr. Sun Yat‑sen's revolutionary footsteps in Britain during his time. More than 10 visiting attractions in the scenic area, including the London Metropolitan Police Station and the Legation of the Qing Dynasty in Britain, recreate the history of Dr. Sun Yat‑sen's ordeal in Britain. Due to the needs of film and television production set design, a number of scenes with film and television production functions have been restored on‑site in this scenic area, such as the Shanghai Residence of the Three Soong Sisters and the Site of Sun Yat‑sen's Ordeal in London.

★ America Scenic Area
The America Scenic Area, located at the western end of the Zhongshan Film and Television City, mainly consists of three parts: New York Street with American urban characteristics, streets with American western town characteristics, and an American Chinese community. The American Western Street is designed in the style of early wooden corridor‑style buildings, with a small cobblestone square featuring an old water tower, pursuing the atmosphere of an American western town. Visitors can put on western cowboy costumes and ride horses here, as if they were in the magical American Wild West. The urban streets reflect the American urban scenery from another perspective, presenting the distinctive living environment of Chinese people residing in America to visitors, while also reflecting Dr. Sun Yat‑sen's life in America. Among these, the Chinatown, the New York Residence of Sun Yat‑sen, the Chinatown Clansmen Association Hall in the United States, and the Manhattan Shopping Mall are all places where Dr. Sun Yat‑sen frequently visited during his time. They reflect the history of Dr. Sun Yat‑sen fleeing to America after the failure of the Guangzhou Uprising, where he promoted revolutionary ideas among local overseas Chinese and raised revolutionary funds.
