Tiger Topia Sriracha Zoo, located in Sriracha Village, Chonburi Province, Thailand, is a large tiger park housing over 300 Bengal tigers and nearly 100,000 crocodiles. The park is the largest tiger and crocodile park in Asia, integrating environmental protection, tourism, and recreation into a new type of tourist attraction. Sriracha Tiger Zoo is Thailand's first and only zoo renowned for breeding Bengal tigers, Siamese crocodiles, and animal performances.
Sriracha Tiger Zoo (Tiger Topia Sriracha Zoo) is a large tiger park located in Sriracha Village, Chonburi Province, Thailand, home to over 300 Bengal tigers and nearly 100,000 crocodiles. The park officially opened to the public on 23 April 1997, covering an area of approximately 100 hectares. It is the largest tiger and crocodile park in Asia, integrating environmental protection, ecological conservation, endangered wildlife protection, high‑tech breeding, and tourism and recreation. The tiger zoo is Thailand's first and only zoo renowned for breeding Bengal tigers, Siamese crocodiles, and animal performances.
Sriracha Tiger Zoo not only allows visitors to explore freely but also offers a variety of exciting shows, such as tiger performances, crocodile shows, and African dances. Visitors can even hold adorable tiger cubs in their arms, witness thrilling scenes of tigers hunting, and, more amazingly, see animals like tigers, pigs, and dogs coexisting peacefully. The park also features interesting performances like crocodile taming and elephants playing basketball.
Sriracha Tiger Zoo has strict regulations: feeding animals is absolutely prohibited for visitors. Upon entering the park, every visitor is informed of this requirement, and their belongings are checked to ensure no feed is brought in. In fact, this rule is mainly to prevent visitors from feeding animals things they shouldn't eat, rather than strictly forbidding feeding altogether. Visitors can also purchase feed from park staff and feed the animals under their supervision.
