Guangzhou Chimelong Bird Paradise Ticket

Chimelong Bird Paradise brings together over 300 rare bird species from around the world, with more than 10,000 birds living in natural habitat. It is a wetland eco‑theme park that combines bird watching and science education, where you can truly see birds in flight. The park is home to a variety of rare fowls including red‑crowned cranes, black swans and golden pheasants, as well as the largest flamingo population in China and the largest crested ibis population in South China.

As one of the few wetland parks in Guangzhou, the park features ingenious designs that restore the natural ecology, providing not only a natural environment for birds to thrive, but also a wonderful place for families to relax, learn through play, and return to nature. The large‑scale wetland eco bird behaviour show "A Hundred Birds in Flight" allows visitors to watch national birds from around the world flying around the island in their natural habitat. With multiple science education classes such as the Bird Wonderland and Wetland Elves Show, as well as innovative ways to observe animals like the "Boat Expedition", visitors can experience the spectacular sight of hundreds and thousands of birds taking flight together—a truly breathtaking scene. Relive the fun from the blockbuster movie "Dad, Where Are We Going?" as you watch hippos get their teeth brushed, get weighed, and even feed them yourself. More exciting experiences await your visit.

★ Boat Expedition to Explore the Hidden Realm (Boat tickets purchased separately)

Hop on a boat and listen to the commentary! On this boat expedition through interconnected islands with lush trees, get up close to nearly a thousand rare birds of over 30 species from five continents. Your science guide will reveal fascinating stories about the flora and fauna of the pristine wetland.

★ World of Flowers and Birds

This is a world of flowers and birds. Macaws, grey parrots, great egrets, hawk‑headed parrots and eclectus parrots are all around you.

★ Tortoise Science Station

Their massive size is beyond your imagination. Centenarian tortoises are also a symbol of longevity.

★ Crane Bay

Crane Bay is home to 11 species of rare cranes, including red‑crowned cranes, Siberian cranes and black‑necked cranes. It is a pristine habitat where wetland plants and animals coexist—truly a place where cranes reign supreme.

★ Scarlet Ibis Island

Under the shade of green trees, beside small bridges and flowing streams, Scarlet Ibis Island is located at the centre of Scarlet Ibis Square near the entrance, covering an area of approximately 900 square metres. It is the habitat of nearly a hundred American scarlet ibises. These "dancers in red" are known as the birds with the reddest plumage in the world and are also one of the top ten lovebirds—faithful to their mates, strictly monogamous. The island features a carefully selected variety of aquatic plants and several small ponds, maximising the restoration of the scarlet ibis's natural living environment.

★ Elf Gallery

Stroll along the picturesque wetland pathways, where an animal gallery unfolds like an animation, showcasing a variety of lizards, rodents, pheasants, white mandarin ducks, seagulls and more. It unabashedly reveals the private lives of these animals—their dashing gaits, languid sleeping postures and quirky eating habits are utterly captivating and will keep you lingering for more.

★ Crested Ibis Forest

The crested ibis is a critically endangered rare bird of China, bearing witness to the animal conservation, breeding and research efforts of China, Japan and South Korea.

★ Children's Playground

The Children's Playground is an open area where adults and children can play happily together. It was thoughtfully built to enhance the park's recreational functions, promote interactive outdoor activities between parents and children, and encourage a healthy balance between work and play.
