A must‑choose winter itinerary for playing in the snow at Mt. Fuji! No need to research complicated transfers — take a dedicated shuttle from central Tokyo directly to Yeti Ski Resort (Snow Town Yeti) at the 2nd Station of Mt. Fuji. As one of the earliest opening ski resorts near Tokyo, it opens from late October to early March each year. With stable snow conditions and stunning views of the sacred mountain, it is a top choice for winter snow play in the capital region.

Situated at an altitude of 1,450 metres, the ski resort features four slopes of varying difficulty (A, B, C, D), with the longest run stretching 1 kilometre, a vertical drop of 150 metres, and a maximum gradient of 25 degrees. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced skier, you will find a suitable slope. It is also particularly family‑friendly, with a dedicated activity park for sledding, snow building, and snowball fights. On clear days, from the upper half of the slopes, you can enjoy panoramic views of both Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay — an unmissable photo spot. The itinerary offers flexible packages: bring your own gear, rent equipment on‑site, or upgrade to professional instructor lessons, so even total beginners can hit the slopes with confidence.

After skiing and playing in the snow, you may choose to upgrade to the hot spring package, with a dedicated shuttle taking you to Konohana no Yu, which opened in late 2019. This facility boasts high‑quality hot spring water from its own source, and the open‑air bath faces the majestic Mt. Fuji directly, allowing you to soak in warmth and wash away the fatigue of a day on the slopes. Weekday admission is 1,700 yen; weekends and public holidays are 2,100 yen. In the event of facility closure, Gotemba Fuji Hakkei or Gotemba City Onsen Hall will be used as an alternative venue to ensure your bathing experience.

With all transfers and complicated planning taken care of, this itinerary combines snow play, Mt. Fuji views, and hot springs in one go. Whether you are travelling with family, friends, or as a skiing beginner, you can effortlessly enjoy the winter romance at the foot of Mt. Fuji from morning to night.
