Attraction Highlights
Rainbow Village ( Special Notice! The alleyways inside the Rainbow Village premises are closed every Monday for cleaning and maintenance. The outdoor areas are open for photos all year round! Please be advised. )
Rainbow Village is an alley about 50 metres long, with walls painted with various portraits, birds and buffaloes, and the ground covered with rainbows, flowers and blessings. When Grandpa Huang first started painting, he painted whatever came to mind — from people, buffaloes and birds to aeroplanes, even the pandas "Tuan Tuan" and "Yuan Yuan" were subjects. Now nearly 80 years old, Rainbow Grandpa painted the entire alley with his brush, and these vibrant, life‑filled patterns and magnificent colours have become a hot topic online.

Miyahara Eye Clinic
Located near Taichung Railway Station, this building was renovated and rebranded by Taichung's renowned pastry brand —日出 (Sunrise). The original structure, which was nearly dilapidated, has been largely preserved and combined with modern design elements, making it Sunrise's most distinctive flagship store.

Gaomei Wetland
Originally known as the Gaomei Wildlife Conservation Area, it is located on the south side of the estuary of the Dajia River in Qingshui, covering a vast area of about 1,500 hectares. It boasts rich ecological and scenic resources. Viewed from any angle or through any lens, the orange‑red sunset paired with the distant giant wind turbines makes it feel like being inside a painting — it is an absolutely unmissable classic scenery.

Fengjia Night Market
Located in Xitun District, Taichung City, mainly along Wenhua Road, Fuxing Road and Fengjia Road, it is the largest and most famous tourist night market in Taiwan. Fengjia Night Market attracts night market lovers with its "cheap and generous portions" philosophy. On holidays, the crowds can make the main thoroughfares so congested that it is almost impossible to move. Fengjia Night Market is renowned for its novel and fun snacks, making it the birthplace of innovative street food.

FAQ
Q: Do the two routes depart in separate vehicles?
A: No, both routes travel together on the same vehicle.
Passengers choosing Route A should wait for the shuttle directly at Miyahara Eye Clinic at the designated meeting time to head to Gaomei Wetland.
Passengers choosing Route B are on the Taichung Half‑Day Tour, which includes the extra stops of Rainbow Village + Miyahara Eye Clinic compared to Route A.
Q: Why do departure times differ between winter and summer seasons?
A: To maximise the chance of catching the sunset at Gaomei Wetland, the itinerary is arranged according to the sunset time of the season.
Please be sure to note the meeting time for your departure month and the meeting location for the tour you booked.
Q: Can I bring luggage on this tour?
A: Due to limited space on the vehicle, we recommend travelling light. If you have special requirements, please leave a message to enquire.
