Want to unlock the hidden science‑play side of Taichung? The Wufeng Mushroom Industry Museum is an absolute must‑visit! As one of only two mushroom museums in the world (the other being in the Netherlands), it holds the big secrets of the mushroom world.
With tickets starting from just NT$11, it's a real bargain. You can check out rare mushroom species exhibits such as enoki mushrooms and king oyster mushrooms, and learn about cultivation techniques and nutritional value through models and display boards. There's also an interactive experience zone where you can try planting with your own hands, plus regular guided tours — both adults and kids can learn while having fun. When you're tired from exploring, you can even taste fresh mushroom cuisine and fully immerse yourself in the charm of agricultural technology.
Whether it's a parent‑child educational trip, a girls' day out photo session, or a visit for science enthusiasts, this is a hidden gem in Wufeng you can't miss!
