The Cat Paw Valley Scenic Area in Zhaoqing City plans to build Guangdong's first 4A‑level tourist scenic area themed around cute pet cats. Located in Huilong Town, Gaoyao District, it is an environmental education base of Guangdong Province, a demonstration site for leisure agriculture and rural tourism in Guangdong Province, and a science education base of Guangdong Province, positioned as a 4A‑level scenic area. The Cat Paw Valley Scenic Area features interactive experiences with the cute cat IP, southern herbal wellness, characteristic homestays, parent‑child education study tours, water activities and cuisine, contributing to rural revitalisation.

The focus is on developing distinctive tourism products such as nature‑based parent‑child tours and nature education camps: farming experience, children's sandpit, nature classroom, stargazing camping, stand‑up paddleboarding on water, and parent‑child orchard. The four signature courses — nature class, skills class, farming class and stargazing class — have been well received by parents and students.
