The 2nd Tunnel was discovered on 19 March 1975, located 13 km north of Cheorwon in the DMZ, posing a potential threat to South Korea as 30,000 armed troops could infiltrate within an hour carrying vehicles, artillery, and tanks. Experience first‑hand the lush greenery near South Korean guard posts and general outposts, in striking contrast to North Korean guard posts, Naktagoji, and Kim Il‑sung Heights.

Attraction/Experience: 1 hour 30 minutes, Guided tour, Cheorwon Second Tunnel, The 2nd Tunnel was dug by North Korea to invade South Korea, discovered on 24 March 1975. This tunnel is 3.5 km long, located 50 ‑ 160 metres below the surface.

Attraction/Experience: 1 hour, Guided tour, Cheorwon Peace Observatory, The Peace Observatory opened in November 2007, with three floors and a basement. The first floor is an exhibition hall, and the second floor is an observatory.

Return: 17:30, Arrive back at Myeongdong Station. DMZ tours usually end around 17:30 in Myeongdong. However, if the DMZ is overcrowded or traffic is bad, the end time may be later than scheduled.
