Nankunshan Grand View Garden Kunshan Gorge Drifting Scenic Area

Kunshan Gorge Drifting is divided into Spring Water Drift (Half Course) and Supreme Drift (Full Course). The full course is 7 kilometres long, with over 20 drops of varying sizes, winding and twisting. The river is filled with giant rocks and dangerous shoals, and the water is clear to the bottom. The drifting raft sometimes plunges down the rapids and sometimes glides gently along the stream.

The river is hidden in lush forests, with dense woods on both banks and spring water that is cool and refreshing. Even during the scorching summer, the temperature and scenery here remain as pleasant as spring.

Along the way, you can also enjoy the panoramic views of the river and mountains, fully immersing yourself in the enchanting canyon scenery.

Kunshan Gorge Drifting Scenic Area is located within Longmen County along the Guanghe Expressway, situated between the Yonghan and Shajing exits. It is a 5‑minute drive from Nankunshan Hot Spring Grand View Garden, one hour from Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Huizhou, and 1.5 hours from Shenzhen.

Over 500‑year‑old Hakka Ancient Village — Jiayi Zhuang

Jiayi Zhuang is an ancient Hakka village with a history of over 500 years. Most villagers in Jiayi Zhuang rely on painting rural landscapes and growing citrus fruits as their main source of income. Due to the village's prevalent painting culture, it is known as the "Village of Peasant Painters".

Although the buildings in Jiayi Zhuang were constructed in the 1950s, they adhere to traditional styles and layouts, preserving the rustic texture of ancient architecture.

While it is a Hakka enclosed house (weilongwu), the enclosed houses here have their own unique characteristics—the overall layout of the village is circular, yet each household's building is square and orderly.

To develop Jiayi Zhuang in Youtian Village into a characteristic tourism village for Longmen peasant paintings, Yonghan Town has widened the road leading into Jiayi Zhuang and planted various types and styles of greenery around the area. The fresh fruits are mouth‑watering.
