With the scorching sun hanging high and the sweltering heat, don't you just crave diving headfirst into a cool world for an exhilarating adventure? Leigong Gorge Rafting in Huizhou is definitely your top choice for a summer getaway!
Located within the Leigong Gorge Eco‑Tourism Resort, the rafting experience is not the only highlight — there's a wealth of other activities to enjoy. At Phoenix Island Campsite, you can lie on the open lawn, gaze at the starry sky, listen to the chirping of insects, and even spot beautiful peacocks. If you're up for an adrenaline‑pumping battle, the live CS games have you covered. Fancy testing your archery skills and feeling the thrill of hitting the bull's‑eye from a hundred paces? That's available too. The Carbon World BBQ Ground can accommodate three to four hundred people, making it ideal for team gatherings. The Science Corridor, Herbal Corridor, Celebrity Corridor, and the Rainbow Swing Bridge are all brimming with fun and perfect for family outings. When you're tired from all the fun, you can check into the resort's holiday homestays, drifting off to sleep to the gentle sound of streams nestled among the mountains and forests, and waking up to birdsong and morning light — pure bliss.

Attraction Highlights and Advantages
Situated on the Tropic of Cancer, Leigong Gorge Rafting is surrounded by vast stretches of pristine forest, with fresh air rich in high concentrations of negative ions — every breath is a gift from nature. The water here is crystal clear, a delight to the eyes. The rafting channel stretches about 4.5 kilometres with a total drop of nearly 100 metres, featuring over a dozen distinct drops. The natural waterway winds and twists, with numerous streams converging, offering you a rafting journey that blends thrill with relaxation. At times you'll surge downwards, feeling your heart race with the torrent's rush; at others, you'll drift through tranquil valleys, savouring the leisurely pace of calmer stretches — a perfect balance of action and serenity for endless fun.

A Summer Must‑Visit
In summer, the forests along the banks of Leigong Gorge grow even lusher, enveloping the waterway in a "forest tunnel" that acts as a natural summer retreat, shielding you from the searing heat outside. As you ride the raft downstream, cool splashes greet your face, instantly dispelling the heat and letting you revel in a comfortable temperature of around 20°C. Along the way, you can admire over 20 natural sights — ten miles of bamboo corridors swaying in the breeze, whimsical rock formations scattered about — as if stepping into a magical wonderland, finding a cool oasis amidst the blazing summer.
