Jeju Glass Museum is a theme park centred around glass, covering a vast area of over 20,000 square metres. It features Jeju Island's natural scenery, beautiful glass artworks, a glass sculpture park, and various adorable animals made of glass.

Glass does not burn, and even when reheated, no steam evaporates; instead, it melts into an elastic substance like syrup and eventually hardens slowly. Utilising this property, glass artists can bend glass and shape it into various forms while it is in a jelly‑like state. Moreover, glass resources are abundant, making it a widely used alternative to diminishing natural resources.

In ancient times, humans began making glass, and works created using glass date back over 4,000 years. This is one of the greatest inventions among substances created by humankind. From a scientific perspective, glass is a very unique and precious material. Artistically, unlike materials such as stone, iron, or wood, glass is a transparent medium that allows light and colour to pass through, and it is regarded as a material that can transcend imagination and express a wide range of possibilities.

At the Jeju Glass Museum, the glass pathways, exhibition halls, naturally formed woods, light, and the fusion of glass with nature will immerse you in tranquillity... as if stepping into a mysterious garden. In the Korean drama 'Secret Garden' starring Hyun Bin and Ha Ji‑won, the storyline where the male and female leads swap souls after drinking medicinal liquor was filmed at this museum.

Jeju Glass Museum focuses on glass manufacturing primarily based on factories from China and Europe, and it serves as a tourist attraction built around this interest. It is also the only glass museum designed by Korean glass artists. The charm of its night scenery will leave you utterly enchanted, unable to tear yourself away.
