The shop boasts an excellent location, just a 3‑minute walk from Daereungwon Tomb Complex and a 2‑minute walk from the bustling main street of Hwangnidan‑gil. It is also close to attractions such as Cheomseongdae Observatory, Anapji Pond, and the Hanok Village, offering unparalleled convenience.

Strolling through the streets of Gyeongju, South Korea, feels like stepping into a river of history. This ancient capital, with a history spanning a thousand years, was once the thriving capital of the Silla Dynasty, and now it has transformed into an open‑air museum without walls. In this land full of ancient charm, the most enchanting experience is undoubtedly — wearing a hanbok and becoming the most beautiful scenery in the old city.

Gyeongju is different from Seoul. Instead of modern skyscrapers, it is filled with ancient tomb clusters, thousand‑year‑old stone pagodas, and traditional hanok villages. Wearing a hanbok and walking along the stone‑paved roads of Gyeongju, with the magnificent Cheomseongdae Observatory or the verdant Daereungwon Tomb Complex in the background, the scene not only feels perfectly natural but also brings an immersive sense of travelling through time.

Recommended Shop Features:

Wide Variety: From traditional hanbok to modernised glamorous hanbok, there are styles available for men, women, and children. Some shops also offer classic Western dresses or retro school uniforms for rent.

Professional Service: Shops usually provide complimentary hair accessories. Some also offer simple hairstyling services (some may require an additional fee), allowing you to exude ancient charm from head to toe.

Recommended Photo Spots for Stunning Shots

Once you put on a hanbok, every corner of Gyeongju becomes your photo studio. Here are a few excellent spots for taking pictures:

Daereungwon Tomb Complex (대릉원): This is the tomb cluster of the Silla royal family. The vast lawns and round ancient tombs create a unique backdrop. Strolling through here feels like being in a historical drama.

Cheomseongdae Observatory (첨성대): The oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, this stone structure is rich in historical ambience. During the day, you can capture the monument against a blue sky and white clouds, while at night, it offers a different charm under the lights.

Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (동궁과 월지): The site of a detached palace from the Silla Dynasty. At night, the lights reflecting on the water create an incredibly dreamy scenery, making this an excellent spot for dramatic night photography.

Hwangnidan‑gil (황리단길): A hipster district transformed from traditional hanok houses. It is filled with unique cafes and artsy shops. Sitting in a hanok cafe wearing a hanbok and enjoying afternoon tea, every casual snap radiates a full ambience.
