Gyeongju Day Trip Introduction
Gyeongju was the thousand‑year capital of the Silla Dynasty. On this historical tour, we will take you into the ancient customs and culture of Korea, steeped in myths and legends.
Departing from convenient locations across Busan, we guarantee a safe and pleasant journey to Gyeongju, where you can explore charming villages, magnificent ancient tombs, beautiful palaces, and many more historically significant relics.
First, take a stroll through Yangdong Village, Korea's largest traditional village, which is also home to numerous cultural heritage sites from the Joseon Dynasty.
Yangdong Village boasts a serene and picturesque landscape. You can enjoy delicious traditional Korean cuisine at a nearby restaurant and take photos with the beautiful village as your backdrop.

Next, head to Bulguksa Temple, a representative landmark of Gyeongju, which was listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1995.

Visit the royal tomb complex of Daereungwon and admire over 10,000 artefacts, including Cheonmachong Tomb, a dome‑shaped tomb of an unknown royal member from the Silla Dynasty.

Upon arriving at Hwangnam‑dong, take a short break and enjoy a cup of coffee before heading to Cheomseongdae Observatory.
Cheomseongdae Observatory is the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, used to track the movement of stars in order to predict the weather.

Afterwards, enjoy a hearty lunch at a restaurant in Gyochon Traditional Village

Finally, conclude the tour at Donggung Palace, where the palace's reflection on Wolji Pond and Anapji Pond at night is truly breathtaking.
