★Sufficient time is allocated at each stop, allowing everyone to explore and enjoy the scenic spots at a leisurely pace. Our passionate tour guide will provide full explanations throughout the journey and help take photos for you!
★Stop 1: Step into a vibrant fairytale world first! At the national Takino Suzuran Hillside Park, enjoy the autumn flower fields in various colours, including pink, purple, and white cosmos flowers, as well as purple sage and sunflowers! There are also adorable "pompom grass" (Kochia), which are expected to turn from green to striking red in October!
★Stop 2: Visit the one‑of‑a‑kind architecturally stunning "Head of the Great Buddha" (Todaibutsu), designed by world‑renowned architect Tadao Ando. From the outside, only the top of the Buddha's head is visible, exuding a sense of mystery and adding an aura of solemnity. Walk through the approach path, pause by the water garden to feel the breath of nature, and continue to the interior of the Great Buddha Hall. Gaze upon the serene and peaceful expression of the Great Buddha, offering a temporary escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. At the entrance, a row of Moai statues greets you, perfect for taking photos up close.
★Stop 3: Savour Hokkaido's signature dish, Genghis Khan BBQ, amidst the autumn colours of Hakkenzan Valley. We'll take you to a special BBQ farm restaurant at Mount Hakkenzan, where you can enjoy premium lamb paired with fresh vegetables grown right on the farm. *For those who don't eat lamb, a choice of beef, pork, or chicken BBQ is available. *Weather permitting, dining will be outdoors; in case of rain, it will be moved indoors. After the meal, take a stroll around the valley farm and pond to enjoy the autumn afternoon breeze, and even get up close with the animals!
★Stop 4: We'll take you to see the most beautiful autumn colours at the Hoheikyo Dam. Walk along the arch‑shaped dam, over 100 metres high, to admire the intertwining autumn hues amidst the Sennen‑iwa (Thousand‑Year Rock) and the golden‑hued Jozankei Lake below. You might even witness the spectacular sight of the dam discharging water!
★Stop 5: Jozankei Dam and Sapporo Lake — overlook Sapporo Lake, which boasts beautiful scenery all year round. Although less famous than the Hoheikyo Dam, it is a hidden gem where the natural colours of red, yellow, and green reflect harmoniously on the lake's surface, offering a sight that is just as stunning.
