【Shisanhang Museum of Archaeology】 The Shisanhang site preserves remnants of Taiwan's prehistoric Iron Age culture dating from 1,800 to 500 years ago. According to archaeological research, the people of this culture may be related to the Ketagalan, one of the Plains Indigenous groups. In 1998, the government officially began developing the preserved Shisanhang site into the "Shisanhang Museum of Archaeology." The museum preserves and displays the relics of our ancestors, aiming to introduce this precious prehistoric site to all visitors. In addition, a "Time Bridge" has been installed, and various special exhibitions are held regularly, hoping that while visitors enjoy the Tamsui River waterfront, they can also cross time and experience the historical trajectory of the Shisanhang culture firsthand.

The museum presents the Shisanhang culture discovered at the site in an engaging and interesting way, giving us insight into what life was like for the Shisanhang people a thousand years ago. Special exhibitions are also held from time to time, sometimes introducing the historical development of the Tamsui River, and other times featuring archaeology‑themed explorations with educational value.
