Kejia Town is located within the Meizhou Kejia Tourism Resort, a national AAAA‑level scenic area. It is a distinctive town that seamlessly blends natural landscapes with cultural charm, offering a vivid portrayal of Hakka customs. The town showcases a rich array of elements including Hakka culture, architecture, cuisine, tourism accommodation, wellness and leisure, as well as folk performances. With a mission to serve as a global hub for Hakka cultural exchange, a wellness and cultural experience retreat, and a centre for preserving and showcasing intangible cultural heritage, the town provides visitors with an immersive venue to experience the authentic Hakka lifestyle and traditions at depth.

Currently, the scenic area has opened a variety of distinctive attractions, including "Tiance Pavilion, Sage Valley, Sage Village, Memory Square, Town Central Street, and Town East Street," along with recreational offerings such as jungle roller coasters and the Yunque Glass Bridge, allowing visitors to enjoy both the beautiful natural scenery and cultural landmarks. In addition, three on‑site restaurants — the Keguantianxia Flavour Restaurant, Mingjia Cuisine House, and Yunjuan Yunshu Café — serve a wide selection of culinary delights.
