Dream Forest Langkawi is an all‑new immersive night attraction in Langkawi, Malaysia, nestled within the lush Lubuk Sembilan rainforest at the foothills of Gunung Raya, covering an area of 15.8 hectares.
Theme and Storyline
•Mythological storytelling: Centred around the legends and folklore of Langkawi, this attraction vividly brings to life the tales of legendary figures such as Princess Dayang Bunting, Tun Teja, Merong Mahawangsa and the Langkawi Giant through interactive digital technology, lighting and soundscapes, immersing visitors in a mythical world and allowing them to experience the local culture in a fully immersive way.
•Integration of natural themes: In addition to mythological tales, it also incorporates elements of biodiversity from Langkawi's tropical rainforest, allowing visitors to learn about the region's rich ecological resources during their exploration.
Visitor Experience
•Trail adventure: A 1.2‑kilometre trail is available for visitors to stroll along, winding through the tropical rainforest while admiring the dense vegetation and crystal‑clear streams, and soaking in the tranquillity and serenity of nature.
•Interactive experiences: Multiple interactive stations are set up along the trail, allowing visitors to engage with projected visuals or characters via touch screens and motion‑sensor devices, thereby deepening their participation in the stories and enhancing the fun and sense of involvement of the visit.
•A feast of light and shadow: The entire forest is enveloped in romantic, multicoloured LED lighting, with dappled interwoven light and shadows creating a dreamlike ambience. Coupled with projection mapping technology, a variety of fantastical images are cast onto trees, rocks and the ground, delivering a spectacular feast for both the eyes and ears of visitors.

Flora and Fauna Appreciation
•Animal resources: This area serves as a habitat for numerous wild animals. During daytime nature walks, visitors have the chance to spot flying lemurs (colugos), dusky leaf monkeys, Sumatran toads, and even several species of hornbills.
•Plant landscapes: The forest is home to a vast array of rare tropical plants, including towering trees, entwining vines and peculiar parasitic plants, forming a complex and beautiful plant ecosystem that makes visitors feel as though they have stepped into a natural botanical museum.
