SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium was built with a total budget of KRW 39 billion invested by Australia's Aoyang Group, brought in through private investment efforts by the Haeundae‑gu District Office of Busan. It was acquired by the UK's Merlin Entertainments Group in July 2012, and in July 2014, SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium underwent renovations to provide visitors with quality services. It is one of Korea's most advanced aquariums, now operated by Merlin Entertainments Group, a world‑class theme park company.

1. From Gimhae Airport (Metro)

Take the metro from the airport station to Sasang Station, transfer to Line 2 and get off at Haeundae Station (해운대역). Walk 10 minutes from Exit 3 or 5 of Haeundae Station.

Take the metro from Busan Station to Seomyeon Station, transfer to Line 2 and get off at Haeundae Station (해운대역). Walk 10 minutes from Exit 3 or 5 of Haeundae Station.
