Bird Paradise is a small island in the middle of a lake, famous for a centuries‑old banyan tree that has grown into a forest on its own, where thousands of birds roost. This is exactly the place described by Mr. Ba Jin in his essay "The Paradise of Birds", where the sight of flocks of birds leaving and returning to their nests is spectacular and enchanting.

The birds on the island are mostly egrets and herons. Egrets go out in the morning and return at dusk, while herons come out at dusk and return at dawn. In the early morning and at dusk, they take turns circling and flying, calling out loudly, creating a spectacular scene. It is highly recommended to visit here around dusk for the best experience.

When visiting Bird Paradise, you can take a stroll along the bird‑watching corridor, climb the bird‑watching tower to get a panoramic view of the small island in the lake, or take a boat ride to experience the grandeur of Bird Paradise up close. In 1933, the famous writer Mr. Ba Jin was awestruck after taking a boat tour here, and he wrote the well‑known essay "The Paradise of Birds", which made this place famous far and wide.
