There are over 30 outdoor hot spring pools in the Hot Spring Valley at Xinhui Gudou Hot Spring, which boasts abundant hot spring resources and a wide variety of types. It is also one of the few places in Guangdong Province that offers two different types of hot springs simultaneously: ocean hot springs (saline hot springs) and radon hot springs (freshwater hot springs).

In the middle of the Hot Spring Valley, there is an approximately 150‑metre‑long artificial cobblestone river channel, which not only adds a touch of charm to the scenic area but also connects the central water zone’s main stage and various soaking pools, dividing the valley’s architectural clusters into three major areas. To the north is the European‑style "Roman Palace", to the east is the Japanese folk‑style "Dongying Pavilion", and to the south is the "Tang Palace" built in the style of the Huaqing Palace from China’s Tang Dynasty.

Inside the Roman Palace, you can enjoy coffee while watching performances on the central stage; the elegant Japanese‑style hot spring area offers a great environment with small bridges and flowing streams, as the ambiance is key to soaking in hot springs, allowing you to relax thoroughly. The Tang Palace, on the other hand, presents a different style, featuring a round pool made of cobblestones against a garden backdrop.

Outside the Tang Palace, there are 9 additional outdoor soaking pools, enclosed by wooden fences to create a rustic charm. A distinctive feature is the "Bagua Pool", where the swirling currents flow endlessly. Also eye‑catching is a statue of Yang Guifei after her bath, about two metres tall, located opposite the Tang Palace. Beside the statue, there is a heated stone slab with hot spring water flowing underneath, allowing you to enjoy a hot stone bath experience.
