Foshan Qinghui Garden Museum

Qinghui Garden Museum is located on Qinghui Road, Daliang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, in the city centre with convenient transportation. It is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong, the other three being Keyuan in Dongguan, Liangyuan in Foshan and Yuyin Shanfang in Panyu, all classical gardens. It features a typical Lingnan garden style, which differs from the Jiangnan garden style found in Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Most Lingnan gardens are situated near towns, occupy relatively small areas, and are designed with an emphasis on delicacy and intricacy.

The name "Qinghui" in Qinghui Garden signifies the parental grace as warm as sunlight. The entire garden landscape revolves around water, centring on a clear pond, with plump koi fish swimming in the stream. There are rockeries, small bridges, pavilions, and towers, complemented by trees such as ginkgo, wisteria, longan, and longshun jujube to enhance the scenic architecture. Visitors may enjoy the water view and garden scenery at Chengyi Pavilion, and observe the "One Hundred Longevity Characters" mural, which is said to be short of some characters, at Bixi Thatched Cottage. The decorative details within the garden are also worth savouring, featuring a large number of ornamental and aesthetic ceramics, lime sculptures, wood carvings, and glass. Among them, brick carvings and coloured glass are particularly exquisite, and the "Longevity Peach" wood carving in Guiji Lu is a masterpiece of wood carving art.

The scenic spot is located in Daliang Town, Shunde. Shunde cuisine is a representative of Cantonese cuisine. After visiting the garden, you can enjoy a hearty meal, and even have a bowl of authentic Shunde double‑skin milk. Eating in Shunde is a top priority.
