Sicao Wetland Reserve

PaidSi Cao is located in Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan, on the edge of the Taiwan Strait. It is famous for historical sites and ecological attractions during the Zheng Chenggong period of the Ming Dynasty. Sicao is the battlefield where Zheng Chenggong and the Dutch fought after landing in Taiwan. The remains of Zheng He's war are still kept behind the Sicao Dazhong Temple. There are green tunnels and wetland landscapes formed by mangroves. It is a tourist attraction in Taiwan. Sicao Wetland is famous for its rich natural ecology and bird habitation paradise. There is a water forest and Taiwan mangrove forest in the wetland, and it is also known as "Pocket Amazon". If you come to Sicao Wetland, it is recommended to take a bamboo raft and feel the tranquility of the afternoon on the water forest.
