Located in Shimen District, New Taipei City, Baisha Bay is a well-known seaside attraction on the North Coast. The beach is about one kilometer long. It is a half-moon-shaped natural bay formed by Fugui Cape and Linshan Nose. It is an ideal place to enjoy seaside life. The sand quality of Baisha Bay is unique. The waves break the coral reefs and shells in the shallow sea and bring them ashore, forming white and beautiful "shell sand". The strong sea breeze blows across the beach, and the fine shell sand is stacked with the wind to form neat and beautiful wavy fine lines, forming a unique "sand pattern" landscape. This is a popular place for water activities such as playing in the water and swimming in summer. It is also the venue for the "New Taipei City North Coast International Kite Festival", attracting many tourists to come and watch colorful kites of various shapes.
