Exhibition Highlights
The museum has dedicated an entire wing to the retrospective, featuring iconic works alongside pieces from her history with the institution. Kusama previously showed at the Stedelijk in the 1960s, participating in the 1962 nul exhibition and exhibiting again in 1965, when she contributed the rowing boat installation Aggregation: One Thousand Boats Show, which remains part of the museum collection and is included in the current display.

The showcase features two Infinity Mirror Rooms and a new immersive installation developed in close collaboration with Kusama and her studio. Outside the museum, the building facade and the trees at the Museumplein are decorated with polka dots. Additionally, Cafe Restaurant Sandberg has introduced a special dinner menu inspired by her art.
