Linda Dounia Exhibition Once Upon A Garden at V and A South Kensington
Like
SaveA free exhibition titled Once Upon A Garden by artist Linda Dounia is running at the V and A South Kensington from Sunday, 20 September to Sunday, 18 October 2026. The display is open daily from 10.00 to 17.00 at the John Lyon's Community Gallery, Learning Centre.
The showcase features 50 emergent species of speculative flora created using image-to-image technology. The works form a speculative archive of critically endangered and extinct plants that lack complete historical records, using generative AI to trace model evolution and examine how these technologies rely on mediated data and natural resources.
The display is part of V and A x LDF 2026. Curators for the project are Laura Herman and Marc Barto, with production by Nick Murray.
Venue: V and A South Kensington, Cromwell Road, London, SW7 2RL
Dates: Sunday, 20 September to Sunday, 18 October 2026
Opening Hours: 10.00 to 17.00
