Exhibits and Highlights

The collection includes hundreds of specimens representing life during the Jurassic period, which spans 200 to 145 million years ago, and the Cretaceous period, spanning 145 to 65 million years ago. The items are grouped into three themes: Life on Land, Life on Sea, and Life in the Air, showcasing contemporary fossilized plants, insects, and marine life alongside dinosaurs from the northern hemisphere, primarily North America.
