Sydney Opera House

Positioned on the edge of Sydney Harbour, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House is celebrated for its sail-like design. Visitors can stroll around Bennelong Point, view the harbour from the forecourt, or join daily multi-language guided tours. The venue hosts over 1,600 performances annually, spanning opera, ballet, dance, theatre, and concerts. While the exterior and forecourt are free to enter, tours and performances require tickets and take one to two hours. Nearby dining spots include Opera Bar, House Canteen, and the fine-dining restaurant Bennelong.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

Known locally as the 'Coathanger', the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the largest steel arch bridge in the world. Travellers can walk or cycle across the structure, watch ferries from Circular Quay or The Rocks, or join a guided BridgeClimb to reach the summit for panoramic views. Walking across takes about 30 minutes and is free, whereas BridgeClimb sessions are ticketed. Nearby areas on the northside include Luna Park, Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden, and Lavender Bay.

Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach offers golden sands and blue waters. Visitors can swim at the Icebergs ocean pool, relax on the beach, or take surfing lessons with Lets Go Surfing. The 6km Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk connects the beach to Coogee via sandstone cliffs, Tamarama, and Bronte. Between October and November, the route hosts Sculpture by the Sea. Public transport is advised due to limited parking. Local dining and shopping options feature Hotel Ravesis, Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, North Bondi Fish, Sean's, Speedos, Bondi Trattoria, and weekend markets.
