Tour Operation Policies During Snow Shortages
When considering tour operations during periods of low snow, specific criteria are applied to determine whether a tour proceeds:
* Partial Operation Criteria: Tours will generally proceed as long as a portion of the ski slopes remains operational, specifically requiring at least one operating ski lift and a minimum of one skiable course.
* Departure Adjustments: If insufficient snow is anticipated by the departure date and there is a high probability that the resort will not open, travellers will be contacted up to three days prior to departure. Furthermore, if a scheduled ski resort fails to open, arrangements may include transport to nearby alternative ski resorts.
* Weather Re-closures: Even if a ski resort has already opened, subsequent weather conditions may force it to close temporarily.
