Held at Fenix, located at Paul Nijghkade 5 in Feijenoord, the session runs from 10:30 to 13:00. Participants will experiment with brushstrokes, movement, emojis and symbols, exploring how an age-old writing form evolves when Chinese calligraphy meets the digital age.

The workshop is part of the Migrating Crafts series initiated by designers Wanwai Shum and Augustina Lavickaitė. The project explores how crafts travel with people and change through new places, cultures and techniques, bringing together makers from different backgrounds and craft disciplines at Fenix. Illustrator and researcher Yingda Dong leads this first session.
