Carnaby Street
Carnaby Street is scheduled to switch on its Christmas lights on Wednesday 4 November 2026. The display features a 1990s theme and reuses its boxy lights made from 60,000 energy-efficient LEDs to reduce waste.
Covent Garden
Covent Garden will turn on its festive lights on Thursday 12 November 2026, marking the return of its Theatre of Christmas campaign. The event includes a switch-on from the Covent Garden Market balcony, the lighting of a British-grown tree in the West Piazza, and the return of oversized gold bells, mirror balls, and baubles inside the Market Building.
Santa's grottos in London are noted to sell out quickly.
