Seoul transforms its autumn skies on 5 September as the annual Seoul International Fireworks Festival takes place at Yeouido Hangang Park. The festival timeline is moved forward compared to previous years, taking into consideration factors such as the Chuseok holiday period and international tourist demand.

Daytime interactive zones begin at 1:00 PM along the riverside park, offering various experiential programmes for visitors ahead of the evening main event. The primary pyrotechnic display officially starts at 8:00 PM.

Global Pyrotechnic Teams and Event Safety

This edition features representative pyrotechnic teams hailing from South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Organiser Hanwha confirmed enhanced crowd safety and management protocols for the gathering.

An operational team of over 5,000 personnel—the largest deployment in the event's history—is assigned to safety oversight across Yeouido Hangang Park. Additionally, a volunteer corps of approximately 1,200 individuals assists with site management and visitor support during the festival.

Online Live Streaming

For spectators unable to attend the grounds in person, the entire event broadcasts live online. Viewers can watch real-time coverage of the performances via the official Hanwha TV YouTube channel.
