Classic Boat Festival returns to London's St Katharine Docks with 50 vintage vessels
Maritime enthusiasts visiting London this September can look forward to the return of the Classic Boat Festival, taking place at St Katharine Docks near Tower Bridge. Held as part of the broader Totally Thames Festival, this 17th edition brings around 50 historic vessels to central London's only marina. The showcase has also expanded into the marina's west basin to accommodate larger craft, including traditional Thames sailing barges.

Historic vessels on display
Visitors to the festival can explore a wide variety of historic craft, such as surviving Dunkirk Little Ships that evacuated Allied soldiers across the Channel in 1940. The lineup also features historic tugboats, sailing yachts, work boats, and motorboats from the Bates Star Craft range. Guests have the chance to step aboard select vessels to inspect the craft up close and chat directly with their owners.
