Louvre Museum Hosts Contemporary Dance Project 'Foret' by Rosas Company in Paris
Visitors to Paris can look back on a unique cultural event at the iconic Louvre Museum. As part of the Festival d'Automne à Paris, the museum hosted Forêt, a special performance project co-created by choreographers Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Némo Flouret.

Contemporary Dance Meets Masterpieces
During the event, which ran from 23 November to 10 December 2022, eleven dancers from the acclaimed Rosas dance company transformed the first floor of the Denon wing into an expressive performance space every evening. The presentation allowed art lovers and theatre enthusiasts to experience contemporary movement inside one of the world's premier museum settings.

Support and International Reach
The production was staged with the support of the Belgian Federal Government's Tax Shelter alongside Casa Kafka Pictures – Belfius. The Rosas company also receives backing from the Flemish Community, the Flemish Community Commission (VGC), and the BNP Paribas Foundation. For international audiences unable to attend in person, video coverage featuring English subtitles has been made available by the Louvre.
