Welcoming Spring with Strauss and Korean Lieder

Adding further brilliance to the evening, renowned baritone Kang Hyung-kyu, a professor at Kyung Hee University with extensive experience performing in major global opera houses, joins as a guest soloist. Kang will deliver deeply moving renditions of classical Korean art songs, including Im Geung-soo’s *As If Spring Comes Across the River*, Jo Doo-nam’s *Boat Song*, and Yoon Hak-june’s *Waiting*. These performances reflect authentic Korean vocal traditions, offering international listeners a rich cultural encounter.

A Grand Finale with Dvořák’s New World Symphony

The concert concludes with Antonín Dvořák’s masterpiece, *Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95*, famously known as *From the New World*.
