Khánh Hòa province — home to Nha Trang — welcomed an estimated 1,249,000 visitors during the five-day National Day holiday (29 August – 2 September 2026), with average hotel occupancy reaching about 86% and total tourism revenue estimated at VND 2,100 billion (roughly US$85 million).

Highlights during the holiday
On the evening of 1 September, a special arts programme at 16 April Square (Đông Hải ward) celebrated the 81st anniversary of National Day across three acts. On 2 September, the "Dances of the World – Hello Vietnam, Hello World" show — part of Miss World 2026 — brought together 111 representatives from countries and territories at 2 April Square in Nha Trang.

The "Alora Nha Trang – Rạng rỡ tự do" concert series at Liberia.
"Rối Mơ" and "Chum Show" performances at Nhà hát Đó theatre.
At VinWonders Nha Trang: the Tata Show, a flag parade and the "Proud Pieces" national-map puzzle activity.
More attractions and support
Yang Bay, Ba Hồ and Trăm Trứng tourist parks also ran activities to stimulate tourism. The province maintained a 24/7 tourist hotline (0947.528.000 – 2258) throughout the holiday to handle visitor feedback and ensure a safe, complete experience.
