How Da Nang Is Winning Tourists Through Digital Storytelling
Da Nang's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched a social-media campaign called "Đà Nẵng Storytellers", recruiting more than 100 Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Key Opinion Consumers (KOCs), bloggers and content creators to promote the central city through digital platforms.

Why digital storytelling matters
According to the city's tourism department, 70% of travellers now choose tours based on content shared on social networks — including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and South Korea's Naver blog. The campaign, built around the message "Your Đà Nẵng — Your Stories", invites creators to take experiential farm trips to favourite destinations and cultural spots, then tell their own Da Nang stories for wider engagement.
Growing Japan air links
Osaka / Kansai → Da Nang: increased from 4 to 5 flights per week, with bookings running July to October.
Tokyo → Da Nang: bumped up from 7 to 11 return flights per week.
The city previously promoted itself in Japan at the Tabihaku Travel Expo in Osaka's Umeda area and across the wider Kansai region.

A sensory brand push
Da Nang's Tourism Association also presented central Vietnam's signature scents — lotus, agarwood, cajeput, citronella, cinnamon, star anise and coffee — at the Aromas and Perfumes in Tourism conference in Nice, France, aiming to build a unique "scent of central Vietnam" tourism brand.
